About JEE Main:
JEE Main is Stand for Joint Entrance Examination - Main is an Examination oraganised and arranged by CBSE(Central Board of Secondary Education) in INDIA.It was introdused in the Year 2002,This national Level exam is helps students in admission to various undergraduate engineering College and architecture courses in that institute,accepting the AIEEE score.In INDIA there is mainly 31 NITs(National Institute of Technology) and 23 IITs(Indian Institute of TEchnology).
The JEE(Main) examination is called sometimes AIEEE,and it was renamed as JEE(Joint Entrance Examination) in April 2017.
The JEE Examination was held on the Last Sunday of April.
Exam Pattern:
The JEE Examination contains of Two Papers: Paper1 and Paper 2.Paper 1 for B.E/BTech where B.E stands for "Bachelor of Engineering" & Btech stands for "Bachelor of Technology" and Paper 2 for BArch where Stands for Bachelor Of Architecture.
All Question in this examination are MCQ (Multiple Choice Question)/Objective Questions and all questions have four choices.Only Choice is correct for a question.Every Correct answer you have done recieve 4 marks and every incorrect attempt question will recieve -1 negative mark.If you LEave the question unanswered there is no negative marking applied.The Question Paper is written in two language Hindi and English.Candidates can fill the Papers either in English or in Hindi.
Date of Examination in 2018:
8th April 2018(Sunday):Pen and Paper based Examination.
15th and 16th April 2018(Sunday,Moday):Computer based Examination.
Eligiblity:
Those Students whose Date of Birth falls on or after 1st October 1993 are eligible.In the case of SC/ST and PWD (Person with Disabilities) candidates upper age limit is 5 years.It means that the Date of Birth for SC/ST/PWD candidates who are born on or after 1st october 1998 are eligible.
Candidate Tips:
The Duration of Papers is 3 hours.Candidates are not allowed to borrow following material into examination Hall:
1.Text material like Text Cheats,Books,Copy ,Logarithm Table and any written material
2.Electronic Items like Calculator,Mobile,Smart Watch etc.
